Last updated: February 13, 2026
Drip is a free water tracking app. Use it to count your glasses of water. These terms cover the basics.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Drip ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Drip is a mobile application that lets you track your daily water intake by tapping a button. The App stores data locally on your device. It does not require an account, does not connect to any server, and does not collect personal information.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the applicable app store terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
- Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties except through authorized app stores
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, brand name "Drip", logo, and all associated visual assets, is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
Your Data
All data created by the App (water entries, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. You are solely responsible for your device and any data stored on it. If you delete the App, your data is permanently lost.
No Medical Advice
Drip is a simple counter. It does not provide medical advice, health recommendations, or personalized hydration guidance. The default goal of 8 glasses is a common suggestion, not a medical prescription. Consult a healthcare professional for hydration guidance specific to your needs.
No Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developers of Drip be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App
- Any loss or corruption of locally stored data
- Any unauthorized access to data on your device
- Any other matter relating to the App
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may discontinue the App or updates at any time without notice. These Terms remain in effect as long as you use the App.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
